Our Chaplain

Pr Ben Ashby

Ben brings a variety of life experiences that include working in the corporate and education sectors. He has been regularly involved in music ministries since his teenage years. He is married with two young children and together they’re involved in their local church community.

As Ben worked in various contexts, he received many prompts to move into a dedicated chaplaincy role. He acknowledged this calling by accepting the role of Chaplain at Hilliard Christian School in 2023.

Before moving to Hobart, he shared his time working as a Learning Support Teacher as well as a Chaplain at the Sydney Adventist Hospital.

He has a thirst for knowledge and is passionate about people experiencing the love, joy and goodness of Jesus Christ through his actions.
